During the course of his innings, Rana celebrated his fifty in a unique style. As soon as he completed his fifty, Nitish raised his bat before showing the three-finger hand gesture. The fingers resembled the alphabet M. This celebration was made popular by the great German footballer Mezut Ozil in a tribute to his young niece Mira.
