In the game against MI, Kolkata Knight Riders won the toss and invited Mumbai Indians to bat first where after a good start the team could manage only 155 runs in their allotted 20 overs. While maintaining the last victory momentum Kolkata Knight Riders needed a win at all costs to keep their Playoffs hopes alive, which Knight Riders achieved in just 15.1 overs and won by 7 wickets.
