Sunrisers Hyderabad and Kolkata Knight Riders are locking horns in the 49th match of the Indian Premier League 2021 in Dubai. SRH are eliminated from the league while KKR have to win their remaining games to secure the last remaining playoff berth.
Kane Williamson won the toss and opted to bat first. He brought Umran Malik in place of Sandeep Sharma. KKR brought Shakib Al Hasan back in the fray and left Tim Seifert out.

SRH got off to a poor start as Wriddhiman Saha got out for a golden duck. Tim Southee trapped him in front of the wicket and Kane Williamson walked out in the first over of the innings. He and Jason Roy had the responsibility to come good for their team.
Roy also got out cheaply for 10 runs by Shivam Mavi. Williamson had to share the burden of an inexperienced middle-order.
Williamson was looking good and had scored 26 runs in 20 balls, featuring 4 boundaries. It was at this moment when he got off to a risky single. Shakib Al Hasan collected the ball and hits the bull’s eye and caught Williamson two inches short of his crease.
