Mumbai Indians and Punjab Kings are locking horns in the 42nd match of the Indian Premier League 2021 in Abu Dhabi. Both teams have won four matches out of ten they have played so far and are trying to get another victory under their belt to strengthen their playoff hopes.
Rohit Sharma won the toss and opted to bowl first. MI brought Saurabh Tiwary and Nathan Coulter-Nile in the playing XI while leaving Ishan Kishan and Adam Milne out. PKBS brought in Mandeep Singh as Mayank Agarwal was injured.

PKBS managed to score only 135 runs in their 20 overs. The bowlers had a steeple task to keep Mumbai Indians batsmen quiet. Ravi Bishnoi provided his team with the opening breakthrough. And not only the first one but another on the next ball.
Ravi Bishnoi came to bowl the fourth over of the MI’s chase. He, first, outfoxed Rohit Sharma on the third ball of the over. Rohit went for a slog-sweep but ended up miscuing the ball to mid-on, where Mandeep Singh managed to grab this regulation catch.
On the very next ball, Bishnoi bowled a googly to Suryakumar Yadav who didn’t read the ball. He went for a cover drive and allowed a huge gap between bat and pad as the ball crashed into the stumps. Suryakumar got out for a golden duck and his dreaded form in the IPL 2021 is stretched even further.
