The 2022 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is scheduled to be commencing on 26th March 2022 with a blockbuster clash between the finalists of the last edition, Chennai Super Kings (CSK), and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). However, a number of overseas players might be missing for the first week for the various IPL franchises, either due to injury or due to the fact that they would be on their national duties.
