In a fresh update for IPL 2025, the BCCI has officially announced new venues for the playoffs and the grand finale. Initially scheduled to take place in Hyderabad and Kolkata, the final leg of the tournament will now be played in Mullanpur and Ahmedabad, following a one-week suspension earlier in the season.

As per the latest BCCI release, the New PCA Stadium in Mullanpur (New Chandigarh) will host two crucial matches — Qualifier 1 on Thursday, May 29, featuring the top two teams of the league stage, followed by the high-stakes Eliminator on Friday, May 30.
The action will then shift to the iconic Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad, the world’s largest cricket venue, for the final two games. Qualifier 2 is scheduled for Sunday, June 1, where the winner of the Eliminator will take on the loser of Qualifier 1. The IPL 2025 final, which will determine the champion of the tournament’s 18th edition, will be held on Tuesday, June 3.
