On the evening of March 30 at 7:30 PM IST, Rajasthan Royals (RR) will take on Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the eleventh match of IPL 2025 at Guwahati’s Barsapara Cricket Stadium. Both teams are desperate for a win as they look to climb out of their respective slumps. Rajasthan Royals, currently languishing at the bottom of the points table after two consecutive losses, are eager to turn their fortunes around.

Their previous outing saw them fall to Kolkata Knight Riders by 8 wickets, with Dhruv Jurel scoring 33 runs but not enough to secure a win. Chennai Super Kings, sitting in seventh place after winning one of their two matches, also face challenges. They suffered a 50-run defeat against Royal Challengers Bengaluru in their last game, despite a resilient 41-run effort from Rachin Ravindra.

Sanju Samson is expected to be away from wicketkeeping and captaincy duties. No other injuries or unavailabilities have been reported. Expect Jofra Archer and Tushar Deshpande to be on duty against Rahul Tripathi and Deepak Hooda. Both the batters were out to short-pitched balls vs RCB. Tripathi was also bounced out by Deepak Chahar in CSK’s opening game. That was a struggle for both even during their fine run in 2022. Against short-pitched deliveries, Hooda averages 17.1 and Tripathi averages 15.14.
