The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is all set to resume on May 17, with a high-voltage clash between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. The BCCI officially confirmed the revised schedule after the tournament was halted last week due to heightened military tensions between India and Pakistan. With a ceasefire now in effect, cricket is ready to take centre stage once again.

The league’s final will now be played on June 3, while Qualifier 1 and Eliminator are scheduled for May 29 and May 30, respectively. Qualifier 2 will take place on June 1, but the venues for these crucial playoff fixtures will be announced later.
One of the key changes includes the replay of the suspended match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals, which was previously halted at 10.1 overs due to escalating border tensions. That match will now be held on May 24 in Jaipur.
