The IPL 2026 auction took place on Tuesday, December 16, in Abu Dhabi. A total of 350 players were there in the auction as all ten franchises were involved in intense bidding wars. Many big names like Cameron Green, Venkatesh Iyer, and Liam Livingstone were in the auction pool, and they fetched a huge sum at the auction.

Meanwhile, three-time champions Kolkata Knight Riders will be there with the biggest purse of Rs 64.3 crore. However, 77 players were sold in the auction, with all 10 teams completing their 25-member quota as well.

Jason Holder: CSK made the opening bid for the veteran all-rounder at his base price of INR 2 crore. Gujarat Titans joined soon and bought him for INR 7 crore.

Tom Banton: He goes to the Gujarat Titans at INR 2 crore.
Prithvi Raj: GT bought him for 30 lakh.
Luke Wood: GT bought him for 75 lakh.
