Irfan And Yusuf Pathan’s Father Help COVID-19 Affected People With Free Food In Vadodara

India are currently in a pretty bad situation due to the second wave of the global pandemic novel COVID-19. It has been affecting people over 3 lakh on daily basis and claimed several lives as well. And, the scarcity of Oxygen and other medicines have seen in most parts of the country as well. However, during these tough times, former India cricketers Irfan and Yusuf Pathan’s father, Mehmood Khan has taken a great initiative.

He has been providing free food through his charitable trust in Vadodara as another strict lockdown will soon take place in many places of the country. Meanwhile, Yusuf Pathan has posted the picture on his Instagram story to inform his followers about this.

However, this isn’t the first time that the Pathan family has been helping people during this crisis time. Before too, they have come forward and helped the poor. Notably, Irfan and Yusuf Pathan had earlier donated 4000 masks to the local administration in Baroda and those were distributed among the people in the city as well.

They had also donated Vitamin C tablets to Vadodara Police in 2020 to boost their immunity as they had been working 24*7 to maintain a proper lockdown in the state. However, Vadodara Police had also thanked them for their heart-warming gesture amid the crunch time of COVID-19.

It is also noteworthy that, both Irfan Pathan and Yusuf Pathan, who had taken part in the Road Safety World Series for the India Legends last month, had been tested positive alongside other players, which also included the batting legend, Sachin Tendulkar. However, he had also admitted to the hospital and now they all have recovered well.

In the tournament, India Legends won the inaugural RSWS where some of the top players showed their class and also gave the message that they still have cricket left in them. However, Irfan Pathan is now a part of the commentary panel in the ongoing edition of the IPL which has been taking place across six venues in India.
