The experienced English pacer James Anderson has claimed that the Indian skipper Virat Kohli is one of the best players in the present cricket world.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli is the present top-ranked Test and ODI player. In the ongoing UK tour, Kohli has scored a total of 922 runs. While India have already lost the ongoing five-match Test series in England, Kohli is leading the most runs scorer table by the huge margin as he has scored 544 runs in eight innings with the average of 68.00. In the ongoing Test series, Kohli has already hit two centuries and three half-centuries.
The Indian skipper is not only playing the consistent big knocks in every cricket format, he is also saving the team with his bat in numerous dangerous situations.
Kohli is also leading in the most runs scorer table of 2018 international cricket as well as the 2018 Test cricket. In this calendar year, Kohli has scored 1,725 runs (average 66.34) in international cricket, including 830 runs (average 59.28) in Test cricket.

The 36-year-old English right-pacer James Anderson hasn’t a good and comfortable experience against this in-form Indian skipper. In this Test series, Anderson has failed yet to dismiss Virat Kohli at least for once.

However, he has admitted that the right-handed Indian leader is currently one of the best cricketers in the world.
Talking about in-form Kohli, Anderson said, “Well, not great for me – I haven’t got him out! He’s obviously their best player, he’s one of, if not the best player in the world right now. It’s a really exciting challenge for us seam bowlers, we’re in our home conditions and we’re trying to use them as best we can.
“If there is a bit of seam or swing movement, you feel like you’re in the game with him but he’s just not nicked them this series, we’ve put him down a few times which is frustrating. But you’ve got to give him credit, he’s a fantastic player.”
