In recent times, the destiny of the New Zealand team has been playing a cruel game with them and their all-rounder, Jimmy Neesham has made it clear that he hates super over and understandably so. He posted a hilarious tweet expressing his feelings after the second game in a row between India and New Zealand went to a super over and the hosts ended up on a losing side.
This was the fourth international match for New Zealand since July that was decided by a super over and they ended up on a losing side in all the matches. The first was in the World Cup final when he nearly took his team to win in the classic final. New Zealand had lost the game on boundary count. The second one took place in November against the same opposition. It was the fifth and final T20I and New Zealand went on to lose the game as well as the series.

Neesham was in the thick of things once again as he failed to defend 16 runs in the final over that saw the game being decided by a super over. The super over then came back to haunt New Zealand on Wednesday in the do-or-die third T20I against India as they lost the close game and also conceded the series. And as soon as New Zealand ended their innings, Neesham took to Twitter to make his feelings clear. The star allrounder posted a hilarious GIF of the famous tv show The office to express his feelings.

And as if that was not enough, New Zealand faced yet another super over on Friday and they only had themselves to blame for. Chasing 166, they needed only seven runs with well set Tim Seifert and Ross Taylor batting. But somehow, New Zealand failed to score the runs. They lost four wickets in the final over and failed to score 2 runs off the final ball.

And as if the super over was not enough, Kings XI Punjab rubbed salt to Neesham’s wounds by taunting him with a GIF tweet of their own.
