The outbreak of the COVID-19 virus has brought the world to a standstill with many countries being completely lockdown for safety and to contain the spread of the virus. Many cricketers have also been proactive on their social media in the past few weeks due to the lockdown. Several cricketers have been actively using Instagram live or Twitter Q&A to spend some time with the fans. On Friday, Indian batswoman Jemimah Rodrigues joined hands with Ridhima Pathak and organized an Instagram live chat session where she answered plenty of questions.

When a fan asked about her favorite shot, Jemimah was quick to reply with cover drive within seconds. Later on, she was asked to name a player she thinks can play the cover drive better or someone who she follows for his cover drive. The Indian batswomen named Pakistan’s Babar Azam. “I love Babar Azam’s cover drives,” she said.
Jemimah Rodrigues was also a part of the India Women team that finished runners up in the recently concluded Women’s T20 World Cup in Australia. The Indian team suffered a heavy defeat in the final to hosts Australia. Harmanpreet and Co. suffered a heartbreaking 17-run defeat at the MCC.
Speaking on the same, Jemimah Rodrigues commented that the team will cherish their time on the field and relish their performances throughout the tournament. She also pledged that the Indian Women’s side will bounce back stronger and make the nation proud
