The New Zealand all-rounder, Jimmy Neesham has always been known for his humor on social media platforms as he is known for churning out hilarious messages. The netizens have tried to troll him, but instead of stern reactions, he reverted with rib-tickling messages. Recently, a similar incident took place, and Neesham, as usual, didn’t disappoint by any means. One of the Twitter users asked the reason why he doesn’t promote himself further up in the batting line-ups.

The 30-year-old Neesham often seen batting in the lower middle-order and comes in when his teams are in need of quick runs in the second half of an innings. Meanwhile, the user took to Twitter and wrote, “Why don’t u promote ur batting order?” The Auckland-born had a funny reply up his sleeves. Neesham replied to the user and wrote, “What, like, on the radio?”

Neesham recently featured in the Mumbai Indians (MI) squad during the 2021 edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). In the tournament, he got to play only a solitary game against the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in New Delhi. He conceded 26 runs and he failed to do much with the bat as well.

Last season, he was a part of the Kings XI Punjab, now Punjab Kings, but even there, he failed to prove his worth. Back in March, he picked up a five-wicket haul in an ODI against Bangladesh in Wellington. But he didn’t get the Player of the Match award, which went to left-hander Devon Conway.

Neesham is currently undergoing his mandatory quarantine period after the BCCI decided to indefinitely suspend the IPL 2021. He needs to stay in isolation for a few days before he could roam around freely in New Zealand.
