Rajasthan Royals (RR) are locking horns with Gujarat Titans (GT) in match 24 of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai. Rajasthan Royals skipper, Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to bowl first. Gujarat Titans made use of the chances to better effect as they managed to post a huge score of 192/4 in 20 overs.

GT captain Hardik Pandya played an unbeaten knock of 87 off 52 balls with the help of 8 boundaries and 4 sixes. Abhinav Manohar supported him well with his knock of 43 off 28 balls including 4 fours, and a couple of sixes. David Miller provided the finishing touch with the bat as he played an unbeaten knock of 31 off 14 balls with the help of 5 boundaries and a six. With the collective efforts of these players, GT posted a defendable total.

Batters across the respective teams have been giving absolutely everything in the ongoing IPL 2022. However, it is quite clear that there can be only one Orange Cap winner at the end of the season. Jos Buttler was at the numero uno position in the list of highest run-getters in the tournament. However, GT captain Hardik Pandya surpassed him to become the top run-getter this season. He accomplished it by scoring an imperious 87 against the Royals.
