Funny incidents on a cricket field are pretty common as they generate some breath of fresh air for the players in eh intense environment on the field. Something similar occurred during the series opener of the five-match Test series between India and South Africa at the Newlands in Cape Town.
The incident took place when the Proteas bowler Kagiso Rabada dismissed Indian all-rounder Hardik Pandya for 93 runs. It was a massive wicket as Pandya was gradually taking the game away from the hosts.
The South African captain Faf du Plessis was delighted with the scalp and he kissed the pacer on the forehead. Du Plessis later uploaded the picture on his Instagram profile, following which Rabada came up with a hilarious reply. On a lighter note, Rabada expressed concerns over his girlfriend’s reaction.

South Africans registered a clinical win in the first Test despite stumbling at different stages as they managed to comprehensively run through teh visiting batsmen. Both Faf du Plessis and Kagiso Rabada displayed prime form as their performances managed to get India on the mat.
