Kevin Pietersen Tries His Hand At Gully Cricket

Kevin Pietersen, the former England batsman, was seen enjoying his time in India. The 38-year-old is currently in India to cover the Indian Premier League (IPL) as a commentator. Apart from doing this, he has been doing loads of other things too. He was seen playing gully cricket prior to the game between Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) on Thursday.

Pietersen was playing with a few kids in the streets of Bangalore and shared pictures and videos on his social media account. He also shared two live stories on Instagram and praising the kids who were playing there.

“He is a very skillful bowler. What is your name?” the Englishman could be heard saying to a kid who replies his name is Abhi. Following that, Pietersen says, “Abhi, brilliant.”

However, Pietersen had also shared a story on Instagram where he revealed his intention of playing.

“Driving in the car here and there are some kids playing gully cricket here, I’m gonna go and play with them,” the England legend said.

The twelfth edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) started on March 23 with the opening match between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and RCB where CSK won the game comfortably.
