With no cricket going on, all the cricketers have a lot of free time on their hands right now. Many cricketers have also been proactive on their social media in the past few weeks due to the lockdown. Indian Spinner Kuldeep Yadav enticed his fans by interacting with famous sports journalist Boria Majumdar and answered plenty of questions. During the chat, the spinner revealed some of the interesting insights about his career.
If not for the Corona Virus, Kuldeep would be busy playing for the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) this season who retained his services. Speaking of IPL and T-20 matches, they generally go down the wire and at times the result is decided by a Super Over. Kuldeep Yadav was given a similar situation and asked to pick batsmen whom he wouldn’t want to bowl in the Super Over.

Kuldeep decided to name Surya Kumar Yadav saying that he plays spin well. He also said that the fact that since they know each other for a long time, it works in Surya’s favor. Speaking on Fancode’s special segment ‘Lockdown But Not Out’. Kuldeep Yadav said, “He is a very good player of spin. He plays my bowling really well. I knew him for 8-9 years so he is the one who plays really well against spin.” Yadav also mentioned Rohit Sharma and Shreyas Iyer, terming them as very good players of spin bowling.

During the chat, the 25-year-old spoke about the possibility of playing the IPL behind closed doors. Yadav says it will provide the bowlers an extra edge. Kuldeep believes no crowd will take off some pressure on the bowlers and give them more confidence to bowl with.
