The young Indian chinaman, Kuldeep Yadav has always been known for turning the game around in India’s favor by taking wickets with his unpredictable bowling display. During the third ODI of the five-match series against Australia at the JSCA stadium in Ranchi, he dismissed two Australian batsmen in the 44th over of the innings.

Earlier on the game, the Indian skipper, Virat Kohli decided to bowl first after winning the toss. While, India made no changes in the squad, the Australian skipper, Aaron Finch announced that they made one change as the injured Nathan Coulter-Nile made way for Jhye Richardson.

During the toss, in an attempt to pay respect to the martyred CRPF personnel in the cowardly Pulwama terror attack, Kohli was seen wearing a special camouflage cap and said that the entire team will wear the special military caps in Ranchi as a tribute to the fallen CRPF men. According to reports, the move has been suggested by none other than Lt. Col. MS Dhoni (he’s with the Territorial Army) and skipper Kohli.

Australia had a decent start to the game as their openers, Finch (93) and Usman Khawaja (104) stitched 193 runs for the opening wicket. However, Kuldeep pulled off a brilliant over as he dismissed Shaun Marsh and Peter Handscomb in the same over as Aussies were cruising at 263/3 before those dismissals.

On the second ball of the over, Marsh came down the track on a length ball but cannot keep his shot down, as a result, the ball went on to Vijay Shankar at long on who took a sharp low catch by swiftly moving towards his right. Handscomb came into bat next and on the alternate delivery, he also went back to the pavilion. He went forward to a length ball which turned into him, and he was gone. The ball was pitched just outside off, but Peter was very much in front of the stumps, as the ball turned back in. Once it missed his bat, I suspect he knew he could be in trouble. However, the Hawkeye showed that the ball was missing the stumps.
