The Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) cricketer, Manish Pandey at long-on pulled off a blinder to send back the Mumbai Indians (MI) wicket-keeper batsman, Ishan Kishan to the pavilion with five overs remaining on Sunday in Sharjah. Over the years, Pandey has shown that he is one of the best fielders in the world in modern-day cricket.

The wicket was also important because Kishan had scored as many as 31 runs off 27 balls. Kishan had the power in the shot but not the elevation. His cameo was laced with two sixes and a four.

On the last ball of the 15th over bowled by Sandeep Sharma, Kishan played a flat-batter lofted drive on the length ball towards long-on. The host had enough power but not the required elevation and Manish rushed across from wide long-on, threw himself at the ball – was parallel to the ground when he completed the two-handed catch and then had the sense to make sure that it didn’t pop out when his elbow hit the ground.

Here is the video of the dismissal:

Kishan has been in good form this season, falling one run shy off a century against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) when he had amassed 99 runs off just 58 balls and MI had lost that match in the Super-over.

Pandey too has been in among the runs and the Hyderabad franchise would hope his good form with the bat continues in Sharjah against the defending champions. In the four matches, he has amassed 146 runs at a strike-rate of 121.15.

Eventually, in their quota of 20 over, Mi managed to register the total of 208./5 with the help of Hardik Pandya, Krunal Pandya, and Kieron Pollard firing in the end. In teh four matches in Sharjah, in every inning, teams have managed to go past a total of 200.
