The premier Australian batter Marnus Labuschagne on Monday revealed that Ravichandran Ashwin is the best Indian bowler he has ever faced in his career. Labuschagne did a Q&A session on Twitter when a fan asked him about the best Indian batter and bowler he has faced in his career.
Replying to the fans, Marnus Labuschagne came up with the name of the Indian Test skipper, Virat Kohli and veteran spinner, R Ashwin. Labuschagne’s reply read: “Virat and Ashwin.”

Another fan asked him about the top 3 test bowlers he has ever faced in his career, Marnus Labuschagne had no hesitation in taking the names of Pat Cummins, Ashwin, and Jofra Archer. He replied, “Cummins, Ashwin & Jofra”.

Marnus Labuschagne is currently the number one ranked Test batter in the world and he is followed by Joe Root and Kane Williamson. On the other hand, Virat Kohli is on the ninth spot in the Test rankings while Ravichandran Ashwin is the number two ranked bowler in the longest format. Australian skipper Pat Cummins is the number one ranked bowler in the world.

England and Australia locked horns with each other in the 5th Test of the ongoing 5-match Ashes series at Sydney Cricket Ground. On Sunday, the game ended in a draw, as the veteran pacers, Stuart Broad and James Anderson batted out the final few overs to pull off a draw.
Earlier in the day, Joe Root and Ben Stokes ground it out in the middle to frustrate the hosts in the second session on Day 5 of the fourth Test. At the tea break, England’s score read 174/4 with Stokes and Bairstow at the crease. However, Nathan Lyon struck the breakthrough in the final session when he got the prized wicket of Stokes with a delivery which turned sharply away from the left-hander, as the England batter nicked the delivery towards slip.

Pat Cummins trapped Jos Buttler leg-before with a full delivery angling into the right-hander, as the England batter attempted to play with a straight bat but missed the line completely. Two deliveries later, Cummins bowled an almost unplayable yorker to Mark Wood that swung towards the batter late. The five-match series stands 3-0 in favor of Australia and the fifth game is scheduled to be commencing on Friday in Hobart and it will be a day-night contest.
