The veteran Indian spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin has reached second place on the all-rounder’s charts in ICC Test Rankings after his series-winning performance against New Zealand in the recently-concluded 2-match series. Ashwin, with 360 rating points, is 22 points behind West Indies all-rounder Jason Holder on the ICC rankings and 12 ahead of Stokes, who witnessed a poor start to the Ashes campaign on Wednesday at the Gabba. Jadeja has now dropped to the 4th spot. Ashwin hit 70 runs, chipping in with crucial contributions, and scalped 14 wickets as India won the Test series 1-0 against the world champions.
