Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar says memories about the time spent with family plays an integral part in everyone’s life.

“Home is where most of our precious moments are made. Whether it is festival, dinners, or small family occasions, memories with families play an integral part in our lives,” Tendulkar said in a statement to IANS.

Tendulkar has also featured in a new TVC campaign for Luminous Power Technologies, a home electrical company.

On the association, he said: “I am happy to be part of the new Luminous ad campaign and I hope that this TVC will be able to connect with the consumers at an emotional level.”

The new TVC campaign is a slice of life concept built on the importance of adding style and design, wherever we are. Launched during the 11th edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL), the campaign highlights how crucial it is to have a style statement and design to every home electrical product. Through this new advertisement, the brand endeavors to connect emotionally with the consumers while tickling their funny bones.

Commenting on the latest ad film, Vipul Sabharwal, managing director, Luminous India, said, “Luminous has long being known for the trust it poses in its customers. Now, we want to step up and get closer to our customers. We have repositioned our brand, introduced new products and have a focused approach towards our various businesses.”

The launch of signature fans collection is a big step in that direction and the new TVC is revolving around the fact that Luminous takes you on a world tour through its signature fan collection.

Elaborating on the thought process behind the campaign, Deepa Kirodian, creative head, Arms Communication, said, “Luminous came up to us with the idea that it wants to revamp its image in front of its customers and build a more solid bond with them. Being a power-backup solutions company, we had to think of power related issues that a common man faces every day. The best part about this ad is that it is short and sweet but also hard-hitting.”
