Indian pacer Mohammad Siraj is looking forward to knocking the door of Indian selectors again as he is determined to make some stellar performances in the forthcoming season of the Indian Premier League (IPL). This year he will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) as he was bought by the Bangalore franchise for ₹2.6 crore in the auction. In the last season, he played for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) for the same price.
Siraj is confident about his fate that he will sport the blue once again. To make his return to Team India he wants to perform in the IPL to seek the attention of selectors. Last year, Siraj, who is a son of an autorickshaw driver had challenged all odds to fulfill his aim of donning the blue jersey of India. Because of his remarkable IPL performance for the SRH, he was given a debut match. For him, it was amazing to express as he shared the dressing room with Indian cricketers.

Now, the youngster’s life has turned into a dream as his IPL performances helped him to buy a bungalow in the city. Talking about the same, he said, “With the money, I got last time, I bought a house for my parents and helped my big brother get married. It is only because of them and God’s grace that I have achieved whatever I have.”
Meanwhile, the Hyderabad pacer during his two T20Is with the Indian cricket team conceded 98 runs taking only two wickets. It was not an impressive debut for the lanky fast bowler. He said, “I want to be back in the team. What happened in the past will always be in the past. There is no use fretting over that. I have made up my mind that the day I wear the blue jersey again, I will not let it go. Chance nahi jaane doonga (I won’t let the chance go).”
Right now, Mohammad is making his plans ready for bowling in the IPL at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in the IPL. He said, “It’s a small ground. Many variations don’t work there. I will concentrate on my stock deliveries: bouncers and yorkers.”
