Jonny Bairstow and David Warner stole the show

Earlier in the game, after winning the toss, the RCB skipper, Virat Kohli asked the hosts to bat first and they took the offer with both the hands as both the SRH openers, David Warner and Jonny Bairstow scored centuries in the game. If it was Bairstow to start the massacre, his opening partner Warner made the life worse for the opposition bowlers against the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

The massacre by the SRH openers lasted till the last over of the game as it started in the first over of Moeen Ali. The duo of Bairstow and Warner literally toying with the poor bowlers of the opposition. While it was about clean hitting from Bairstow, Warner displayed how much the running between the wickets also help when s batsman isn’t able to hit the boundaries. The duo hardly played any dot ball during their opening stand of 185 runs which was a record-shattering one.

Deservedly, he also scored his century and then came the trademark celebration. The famous jump with helmet in one hand and the wounded Tiger roared ferociously. With the help of those centuries, SRh reached the score of 231/2.

During the chase, Bhuvneshwar Kumar opened the bowling with Nabi, who dismissed Parthiv in his first over itself. On the final ball of the over, Nabi bowed a full toss on off stump and Parthiv backed away to slice it over the infield on the off side but managed to hit in the hands of Manish Pandey.

Again on the first ball of his next over, dismissed the dangerous looking Hetmyer as well, who came down the track but the ball turned away from middle stump and the batsman missed and Bairstow made no mistake behind the stumps. In the same the over, the Afghan all-rounder got the priced wicket of AB de Villiers, who expected the ball to turn and attempted to go over the cover region, but the ball went straight past the outside edge to dislodged the stumps. That dismissal left RCB struggling at 22-3.
