The Indian fast bowler, Mohammed Siraj scooped a shot over a short fine leg on a low full-toss bowled by the West Indies all-rounder, Jason Holder in the final over of the innings of the third and the final ODI in Ahmedabad. India scored a total of 265 courtesy of an 80-run knock by Shreyas Iyer hitting nine boundaries and 56 runs by Rishabh Pant including six boundaries and a single six.
India opted to bat first in this ODI of the series against the West Indies. They posted a decent total of 265 runs against the opposition as Shreyas Iyer and Rishabh Pant scored brilliant half-centuries. Iyer scored 80 runs while Rishabh Pant played a knock of 56 runs. Partnership from both of these batsmen helped India reach a decent total from 42/3 at one point.

Mohammed Siraj was seen smashing a boundary on the penultimate ball of the last over of the innings against Jason Holder. Holder bowled low full-toss to Siraj on the fifth delivery and he scooped his shot over short fine leg.
Earlier in the game, West Indies stand-in skipper, Nicholas Pooran lost the toss, and India decided to bat first citing some spice in the pitch early in the innings. The Widnes made one change in the playing XIs as Hayden Walsh replaced Akeal Hosein in the playing Xi. On the other hand, India made as many as three changes in their playing XI.

As KL Rahul had a niggle, Shikhar Dhawan replaced him whereas, Shreyas Iyer and Deepak Hooda came in place of Deepak Hooda and Shardul Thakur.
