The defending champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have started their journey on a high note. They have won seven out of ten matches and have 14 points in their name. Most of the win came on the back of a strong performance from the captain MS Dhoni. Their last game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) was one such game where MS Dhoni almost pulled off the game, coming when his side was struggling at 28/4 at 5.5 overs in their 162-run chase. He took the game to the final ball of the over where he took 24 runs in the first five but unfortunately missed the last ball; where a quick brilliance from Parthiv Patel handed Bangalore a nail-biting 1 run win.
