Amongst the four key roles that exist in a cricket team (Batsman, Bowler, Fielder and the wicket-keeper), only wicket-keeping is the one that portrayed by only one man for the team. Hence the wicket-keepers union is the smallest but also very tightly bound. In the Indian context, there is no one better behind the stumps than MS Dhoni.
The former Indian Captain-keeper is known for his blinding speed in taking off the bails while batsman’s foot is in the air for a nanosecond. Dhoni is also famous for his various antics where he can crash the stumps even without looking at them. The humble giant is never shy of sharing his knowledge and tricks with youngsters.
One such moment was observed yesterday in the match played at the MCA Stadium, Pune between Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians. MS Dhoni had come out to bat at the number four position for Chennai and Ishan Kishan was keeping the wickets for Mumbai Indians team.
