Rishabh Pant is one of the youngsters who has been performing pretty well for the last couple of months and who has been considered as MS Dhoni’s replacement in the India team for quite some time now. However, Pant failed to make it to the World Cup squad but he has performed pretty well in the IPL with the bat as well as gloves. He took his team to the playoff single-handedly.
Pant scored 38 off 25 balls for Delhi Capitals in the second qualifier against Chennai Super Kings at Vizag, and after the match, he was seen with MS Dhoni in a discussion after the post-match presentation had wrapped up. However, Chennai Super Kings’ team management took to Twitter and shared a video where Pant was seen nodding and acknowledging what Dhoni was saying to him.

MS Dhoni is one of the best captains as well as wicketkeepers in the world, whereas Pant would certainly try to take tips as much possible as he can from him. However, he has also stated earlier that he considers MS Dhoni his idol and his guidance are always crucial for the youngster.

Chennai Super Kings registered a comfortable six-wicket win over Delhi Capitals on Friday in Qualifier 2. They will now face Mumbai Indians in the final on Sunday at Hyderabad.
