Despite relinquishing his captaincy duties and moving down the batting order due to fitness issues, the legendary cricketer, affectionately known as “Thala,” continues to enjoy an unwavering fan following. Recently, Dhoni gave fans a glimpse into his daily routine during an event, which quickly went viral on social media. In the viral Instagram video, MS Dhoni candidly shared insights into his lifestyle.

“I felt this is the right schedule for me,” he began. “I sleep by 3 am and wake up around 11, 11:30, or 12. The reason is simple: if I sleep at 2 am and wake up at 10, I get restless if the game is at 7:30 pm. When we play a game, we return late, have to pack our bags, and prepare for the next day. Maintaining a consistent sleep schedule is essential because the body doesn’t adjust well to varying sleep times,” MS Dhoni explained.

Dhoni’s dedication to his routine highlights his meticulous approach to the game, even as he navigates the twilight of his illustrious career. Recently, he was seen participating in a training session at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium ahead of CSK’s crucial match against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) on Saturday, May 18.

Adding to the excitement, Dhoni was spotted bowling in the nets, a rare sight that thrilled fans. CSK shared a video of this moment on the social media platform X (formerly Twitter), captioning it, “When he bowls, just ADORABOWL.”

The camaraderie between Dhoni and the RCB team was also on display when he visited their dressing room. A heartwarming video shared by the Bengaluru-based franchise on Instagram showed Dhoni enjoying a hot cup of tea, with the caption, “Welcome to Bengaluru, Mahi.”

As the season nears its end, CSK sits fourth in the IPL 2024 standings with 14 points from 13 games. A victory against RCB on Saturday will secure their place in the playoffs, making the upcoming match not just a critical game for CSK, but also another chapter in Dhoni’s enduring legacy.
