Former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni arguably the most loved and followed cricketers of the modern day cricket still and that is one of the crucial reasons that he enjoys a lot of attention wherever he travels. On Thursday, Dhoni reached Visakhapatnam for the first T20I against Australia and got an unbelievable reception at the Airport. It is not uncommon to see him getting such receptions. In New Zealand, he got a standing ovation every time he walked into the middle to bat.
Once Dhoni came outside the airport exit gate in Vizag, fans were standing outside to get a glimpse of the Indian stalwart. Once they spotted him, the fans started shouting his name and the security had to get into action soon to keep the mob under control. Here is the video of the same:
Meanwhile, in the upcoming series, the expectations from Dhoni will be huge as he hit a purple patch Down Under where he bagged the Man of the Series in the ODI series against hosts Australia. He has shown that he is sharper than ever with his glovework and his decision-making is undoubtedly one of the best in the business.
There were question marks over Dhoni’s participation in the World Cup after his poor outing against England last year where he found it hard to score at a brisk rate. But after the Australia series, all that has changed and he seems to have found a space in the scheme of things.

With the first T20I on 24th February, the rest of the squad is expected to reach Vizag on Friday. The Men in Blue would look to finalise a squad for the World Cup as this is their last opportunity to do so. Virat Kohli and Jasprit Bumrah would be making a return to the squad after rest.
