The defending champion Chennai Super Kings (CSK) once again registered a convincing victory over Delhi Capitals (DC). CSK has already won their first game against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). However, in the fifth game of the 12th edition of Indian Premier League (IPL) at Feroz Shah Kotla in Delhi, DC chose to bat first after winning the toss.
Having started well, DC lost their way in the middle. CSK bowlers did a fabulous job by restricting them within a chasable target. 16th over was the turning point of the game where Bravo took 2 wickets in the same over. In the 5th delivery, Bravo bowled a fuller delivery and the batsman K Paul was beaten for the pace which hit on the pad.

However, Bravo shouted for a massive leg before wicket but umpire Nitin Menon wasn’t convinced at all. Bravo asked his captain for a review but Dhoni too wasn’t convinced and they didn’t go for it as it was just outside off.

However, K Paul stayed for another three deliveries as Jadeja dismissed him in the 17th over. The brilliant spells from the bowlers ended their innings within 147/6 after 20 overs which CSK chased down two balls to spare.
