Chennai Super Kings (CSK) played their last game in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 almost a month ago and the fans have been eagerly waiting to known an update on what MS Dhoni has been up to. The legendary wicket-keeper-batsman has always been known for keeping a low profile, staying out of the public eye. While Team India remains busy with their 2024 T20 World Cup journey, a video of MS Dhoni has gone viral on social media.
The video shows the former Indian skipper relaxing with his pet dogs at his farmhouse in Ranchi, along with his wife Sakshi and daughter Ziva. In the video, the MS Dhoni family is seen in a playful mood with their dogs. The pets are being petted and caressed, and some clips even show Dhoni playfully interacting with them, enjoying some quality downtime.

After leading CSK to victory last season, MS Dhoni decided to hand over the captaincy to Ruturaj Gaikwad for the IPL 2024 season. Unfortunately, CSK failed to qualify for the playoffs after losing to Virat Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bangalore in their final league game.
Despite the team’s overall performance, MS Dhoni enjoyed a successful IPL season personally. Nursing an injury, he still managed to score 161 runs at a strike rate of over 220, often coming in to bat as low as No. 8. His electric form while finishing games led many experts to suggest a surprise return to the India setup. One such expert was Dhoni’s former India teammate Virender Sehwag.
“Who else is better than MS Dhoni at finishing in the last three overs?” Virender Sehwag remarked to Cricbuzz during IPL 2024.
