Here’s what they tweeted:

After acquiring Quinton de Kock in the transfer window by releasing Mustafizur Rahman, auctions will be a huge task for the franchise as they have some reconstruction to do. Some of their premium cricketers like Jasprit Bumrah and Hardik Pandya might not feature throughout the tournament owing to World Cup commitments, due to which they will be looking for alternatives.

With ₹11.15 Crore left in the spending purse, Mumbai will be eager to sign some good local talents as they have room for only one foreign cricketer in the squad. They can pick a maximum of six Indian cricketers and it will be interesting to see how they will perform on the auction table.
