While an IPL contract remains a dream for many cricketers, Mumbai’s rising star Musheer Khan finds solace in being unsold during last year’s player auction. For the 19-year-old, this setback provides an opportunity to delve deeper into the intricacies of T20 cricket and refine his skills for the future.
Reflecting on his omission from the IPL auction, Musheer Khan expressed contentment, drawing strength from the wisdom imparted by his father and coach, Naushad. “My name is not in the IPL. But I don’t feel disappointed. My father tells me to play Test cricket and play for Team India. IPL will eventually happen, if not today then tomorrow,” Musheer revealed, showcasing a mature outlook towards his cricketing journey.
