Gujarat Titans (GT) registered a dominating win over Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in the 57th match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022. With the win, they have become the first team to reach the playoffs of their first-ever IPL season. Hardik Pandya’s sensational captaincy combined with the balanced performance of each of the starting XI has turned them into one of the biggest contenders to win the title this season.
GT played their first match in IPL 2022 against LSG and it is a beautiful coincidence that they confirmed their spot in the IPL 2022 playoffs against the same team. Last night’s match was an unusual one because of the weird proportion of runs scored in both innings.

Firstly, GT skipper, Hardik Pandya decided to bat first and only managed to register the score of 144 runs, which at that time looked nothing like a winning total. But GT’s supreme bowling lineup changed things completely in the second innings as they bundled out LSG in just 13.5 overs and LSG were all out for 82 runs.
