The ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) has seen Gujarat Titans (GT) skipper Hardik Pandya getting angry with his teammates. In the previous game he was all over David Miller and in the game against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH), the all-rounder lashed out at Mohammed Shami. Hardik got angry after Shami did not attempt a catch on Rahul Tripathi’s shot towards the third man area.
The Gujarat Titans skipper Hardik Pandya has led his side brilliantly so far in IPL 2022 but his anger has also been evident in the tournament. In the last game, it was David Miller who was at the receiving end after Hardik was run out. This time around, it was Mohammed Shami who had to bear the brunt of his skipper’s anger when he did not attempt a catch.

The incident took place on the final ball of the 12th over which Hardik Pandya was bowling. Sunrisers Hyderabad batter Rahul Tripathi played an uppercut over the in-field and it almost carried to Mohammed Shami who was standing at third man. However, Shami needed to move forward if he wanted to convert it into a catch. Instead, Shami took the safe route of protecting the boundary which angered Hardik Pandya as he fumed at his teammate for not attempting the catch.

Gujarat Titans are the only team that is unbeaten in the ongoing season of the IPL 2022. They have played three games so far and have won a hat-trick of games. Currently, they are third on the points table.

Notably, they have a healthy Net Run Rate of +0.349. On the other hand, Sunrisers Hyderabad are eighth on the points table. Earlier, they got off the mark against Chennai Super Kings with a win this season. Sunrisers are giving everything to win their second game. On the other hand, GT are looking to extend their winning run. It would be quite interesting to see which team wins the game.
