Former Indian skipper, Virat Kohli was dismissed on a score of 18 runs from 30 balls on delivery by Odean Smith wide outside off-stump edging it to the wicketkeeper Shai Hope. Odean Smith picked a couple of crucial wickets of Rishabh Pant and Virat Kohli in the same over providing West Indies early momentum in the game.
India is playing against West Indies in the second ODI of the three-match series at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. KL Rahul made a comeback to the Indian squad in place of Ishan Kishan and the team opted for a new opening pair. West Indies won the toss and opted to bowl first. Rohit Sharma and Rishabh Pant were seen opening the innings for India.

After Rohit Sharma was dismissed on a team total of nine runs, former Indian captain Virat Kohli came in to bat at number 3. Kohli was dismissed caught behind on the ball which was on outside off-stump by Odean Smith.
Virat attempted to play a drive-through of the covers but the ball-shaped away and he ended up edging the ball to the wicketkeeper Shai Hope on a score of 18 runs. Odean Smith also dismissed Rishabh Pant on a short-pitched delivery taking a couple of wickets for West Indies so far in the fixture.

Earlier in the game, West Indies stand-in skipper, Nicholas Pooran won the toss and decided to bowl first citing some spice in the pitch early in the innings. Both the team made one change in the playing XIs as Kieron Pollard was replaced by Odean Smith fo the visitors whereas KL Rahul replaced Ishan Kishan for Team India.Â
