Former Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) skipper, Virat Kohli might not have contributed much with the bat in the clash against Delhi Capitals on Saturday (April 17). However, he contributed significantly in the field by taking a stellar catch. He timed his jump to perfection and took an outstanding one-handed catch to dismiss DC skipper Rishabh Pant, who was on a roll and was looking good to take the game away from RCB.
It was the third ball of the 17th over and the game seemed poised at that time. Rishabh Pant’s eyes lit up as Mohammed Siraj delivered a juicy full toss. However, the southpaw failed to connect the ball properly and Kohli took a sensational catch inside the circle. It was certainly a turning point of the game as Pant walked back for a 17-ball 34. It was smooth sailing for RCB afterward as they managed to win the game by the contest by 16 runs.
