On Wednesday, Karnataka batsman Robin Uthappa got blessed with a baby boy. He took to Instagram and uploaded a photo with his wife and the newborn baby and also thanked his fans and followers for all the love and support.
In a post, Robin, who called their relationship ‘batman and joker’, wrote, “Our bundle of joy has arrived!! NEALE NOLAN UTHAPPA! thank you for all the love and support!! #whentwobecomethree #batmenandjoker.”
Uthappa got married to his longtime girlfriend Sheethal Goutham, who is a former tennis player, in March last year.
He has played for Karnataka for 15 years, from the ongoing season of Ranji Trophy, he has started playing for Saurashtra. Uthappa had been one of the crucial cogs for Karnataka in the domestic circuit.
The elegant batsman has also represented India in ODIs and T20Is. On his ODI debut, he made a record score of 86 runs against England, which was a record individual score by an Indian batsman on debut and it was broken by another Karnataka batsman KL Rahul with a century.
