Telugu actress Poonam Kaur opted Sunil Gavaskar’s name as his favorite cricketer during the One-Day International series decider between India and Sri Lanka at Vishakhapatnam.

She went straight into the commentary box during the game met Gavaskar, who she idealizes. “I have the utmost respect for him. He is very a humble person,” she said.

Asked whether she likes current Indian players or not, Poonam replied “Who isn’t? Of course, I look up to them, but he (Gavaskar) is at the top of my list.”
