Preity Zinta has recently changed the name of her South African Global T20 League franchise as “Stellenbosch Kings” from Stellenbosch Monarchs.
Zinta isn’t an alien name in the cricketing world as she already owns the IPL franchise, Kings XI Punjab franchise. The Stellenbosch team became her second venture in the genre of T20 leagues. The T20 Global League is expected to begin on November, 3.
The official Twitter account of Stellenbosch Kings welcomed Zinta on board and also released the new name and logo in subsequent tweets. The team is expected to be a dominating one in the tournament as they have masters like Faf du Plessis as the skipper while Stephen Fleming will serve as the coach.
