Arjun Tendulkar received heartfelt praise from both his sister, Sara Tendulkar, and his legendary father, Sachin Tendulkar, after making an encouraging debut for Lucknow Super Giants in IPL 2026. The young left-arm pacer finally got his opportunity during LSG’s clash against Punjab Kings at the Ekana Stadium and produced a composed performance under pressure.
Arjun finished with figures of 1/36 from his four overs and picked up his maiden IPL wicket by dismissing the dangerous Prabhsimran Singh with a superb yorker. Despite the high-scoring nature of the contest and the constant spotlight surrounding his surname, Arjun impressed fans and experts alike with his calm approach and disciplined bowling. His debut became one of the major talking points of the evening, especially after emotional reactions poured in from his family.

Sachin Tendulkar also posted a rare public message about his son’s cricket journey on social media. The batting icon praised Arjun for his patience, commitment and ability to stay positive despite waiting until the final league-stage match of the season for his chance.
