Currently, Delhi Capitals (DC) are locking horns with Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the 41st match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 in Sharjah. After winning the toss, the KKR skipper, Eoin Morgan asked DC to bat and KKR’s bowlers delivered with dismissing in-form Shikhar Dhawan in the powerplay itself. However, an eye-catching moment took place in the last over of the first innings when the DC spinner, R Ashwin was seen having heated conversations with KKR pacer, Tim Southee and Morgan.
On the first delivery of the final over bowled by Tim Southee, R Ashwin came down the track and decided to smack the ball for a six with a pull shot. The ball went up in the air and eventually, the catch was taken at the deep backward square by Nitish Rana. Soon after the dismissal, some heated words were seen getting exchanged between Southee and Ashwin followed by Ashwin having banter with Morgan as well.

However, KKR wicket-keeper, Dinesh Karthik, who hails from a similar state to that of R Ashwin, decided to intervene and managed to part Morgan and Ashwin from each other. It seemed that Southee might’ve been reminded of the extra run that Capitals took when the ball hit Pant’s arm on the final ball of the 19th over which brought Ashwin on strike in the first ball of the final over.

When R Ashwin was walking back to the crease, he and Southee seemed to have some words being exchanged. While Southee was the first to have a word with Ashwin, it led to Morgan getting involved. The KKR captain and Ashwin too had a heated conversation ill finally Dinesh Karthik intervened and took R Ashwin away from the scene.

The reason for the tiff might have been something about the last ball of the previous over where they stole a run. However, fans still want to know the real reason behind the banter and started tweeting about the same.
