The helicopter shot became an infamous cricketing shot ever since, former Indian skipper, MS Dhoni came to the international arena. He popularized shot and fans used to get crazy when he used to dig out a full-length delivery bowled by the bowler, bring his powerful wrists into play and send the ball soaring into the stands. And, Rahmanullah Gurbaz pulled out his own helicopter shot in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2022 match that was played between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United.
In the 15th over of the Islamabad innings, Sohail Khan bowled a full-length delivery to Rahmanullah Gurbaz, and the right-hander nonchalantly used his wrists and deposited the ball past the deep mid-wicket fence.
