There is no denying the fact that the two of the best batsmen of modern-day cricket, Virat Kohli and Steve Smith shares an on-field rivalry and it is not just limited to the international cricket as now it has also become a part of the Indian Premier League (IPL), when Kohli and Smith lead Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) engaged in the banter. While there is some time left for that rivalry to unfold in IPL 2020, the social media handles of the two franchises were seen taking a dig at each other.
It all started when the IPL 2020 schedule was announced on Sunday and the Bangalore-based franchise shared the match dates with their fans. They went on to share a small video to ask their fans which fixture are they most excited about.
