Rajasthan Royals (RR) suffers another blow as their fast bowler Andrew Tye has left the team’s bio-bubble and left for Australia on Sunday. The franchise has already suffered massive setbacks in the Indian Premier League (IPL) with Ben Stokes and Jofra Archer ruled out with injuries and Liam Livingstone deciding to pull out of the tournament citing bubble fatigue.
It will be a massive blow with RR struggling to find ground in the ongoing tournament. Ben Stokes suffered an injury on his finger during the team’s opening games against Punjab Kings. He underwent surgery and will require at least 12 weeks to recover and return to the cricket field. On the other hand, Jofra Archer has also been ruled out of the 14th edition of the competition due to an elbow injury. Another English batter Liam Livingstone also pulled out of the tournament citing bubble fatigue.

Meanwhile, Andrew Tye didn’t feature in any of the games for the Royals in the ongoing season as the franchise showed trust in the abilities of all-rounder Chris Morris and Mustafizur Rahman. Last season, Tye played only one game picking a solitary wicket at an economy rate of 12.5, and subsequently had to warm the benches.
