Akash Chaudhary enters record books

A pacer from Rajasthan registered his name to the record books by taking all the 10 wickets without conceding a run in a T20 match in Jaipur. 15-year-old lad, Akash Chaudhary bowled four overs, all maiden, and took 10 wickets. He also took a hat-trick in the last three balls of his final over.

Akash achieved this feat during a domestic cricket tournament while representing his team Disha Cricket Academy against Pearl Academy. Pearl Academy chose to bowl after winning the toss and restricted Disha Cricket Academy to 156 in their quota of 20 overs.

In reply, Pearl Academy team was bundled out for just 36, thanks to Chaudhary’s unbelievable spell. Chaudhary’s figures read 4-4-0-10.

Akash is a left-arm pacer from Bharatpur and he idolizes Zaheer Khan and wants to play in the Indian cricket team one day. During an interview with Hindu, Chaudhary said, “I want to play for Rajasthan and ten for the country. That’s the target.”

Chaudhary has been training under former Rajasthan Ranji cricketer Vivek Yadav. He got some limelight for his exploits in the Bhawe Singh T20 tournament. He said, “It just happened, I don’t know how.”

According to The Hindu, Chaudhary is in the probables for U-16 Challengers Trophy for Rajasthan. He hopes to do well in the tournament and help himself get closer to his dreams.
