Rashid Khan Concedes An Extra Run With His Silly Mis-fielding

Gujarat Titans (GT) captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and invited Mumbai Indians to bat in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 match on Friday. Mumbai Indians have made a change in which M Ashwin has been included in the playing XI in place of Hrithik Shokeen. Gujarat Titans entered the game without change.

Batting first, Mumbai Indians have made a good start. MI has the best score in the powerplay this season as they scored 63 runs in 6 overs without losing a wicket. Rohit looked in good touch today. However, he returned to the pavilion after scoring 43 runs. Rashid Khan fielded poorly at cover during the 7th over of Mumbai Indians’ innings.  Actually, Ishan Kishan took a single by playing the second ball of this over towards the cover.

But during this Rashid caught the ball early and fell on the ground in the process of throwing and on throwing from there the ball hit his shoe. Seeing this incident, Pandya and Rashid were seen laughing. However, in the meantime Mumbai’s batsmen took two runs. The opening pair of Mumbai Indians was broken by Rashid Khan in the next over. He got Rohit out for lbw and sent him to the pavilion. Rohit got out after scoring 43 runs in 28 balls. He hit 5 fours and 2 sixes in the innings.
