The 12th edition of IPL has started with a bang. From high scoring nail-biting game to Buttler’s controversial dismissal, along with Malinga’s no-ball, everything took the limelight. However, another incident also came into the limelight is that Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) spinner Rashid Khan is not only best in spinning the cricket ball, but also the football as well.

Prior to the game against Rajasthan Royals (RR), SRH spinner Rashid Khan was seen spinning the football with ease. He has already proved his worth in the team with the cricket ball, now this talent would surely surprise many people who were not aware of his talent.

In the high-scoring encounter at Hyderabad last night, SRH beat RR by five wickets with an over to spare. A blistering century from Sanju Samson lift Rajasthan Royals to a fighting total of 198 in 20 overs while batting first despite being Joss Buttler’s early dismissal by Rashid Khan.
However, SRH’s chase started with a brilliant way as the openers David Warner and Jonny Bairstow added 110-run within 10 overs. However, there were a couple of hiccups as well where Vijay Shankar played a stable 35 before his dismissal.

When Rashid Khan came in to bat, SRH lost two wickets of Vijay Shankar and Manish Pandey in two balls. They required 32 from 26 deliveries and Jofra Archer’s yorkers in the death overs were still to come. With 12 needed off 12 balls, Archer came to bowl. His accurate pace made the run-chasing more difficult, but Rashid Khan seemed to have other plans.
He went back to his crease and hit a full-length delivery for a boundary through cover to make the chase easy as they were needed four runs to win from seven balls. The next ball he flicked by using the depth of the crease and over deep square leg for a maximum which ensured the win for his team. His cameo of 8-ball 15, including two boundaries off Archer, helped SRH to win 1 over to spare.
